Located in Lexington, KY, The Cambria Rooftop Bar & Terrace seeks to create an unexpected wonderland of sensory experiences for locals and guests alike. Perched on top of a new 165-room Cambria Hotel, the rooftop experience is a separate, stand-alone concept from the rest of the project. Leaning into that, the overarching narrative concept is Intoxicating Garden, where you slip “through the looking glass” into an unexpected experience.
The space, anchored by a monumental tree and ceiling mural, is organized into separate zones: larger areas for groups, a VIP area, bar, and general seating. Foliage and floral installations are planned to change throughout the year to enhance the changing seasonal menu and entertainment programming.
The finish palette is rich, textural, and vibrant, with jewel-tone fabrics, textured wall tile, and unique artwork and detailing. The bar, anchoring the end wall, provides additional depth of space with it’s mirrored backbar.
The lounge opens out to a covered rooftop terrace, with additional trees and plantings to create aencompassing garden experience, all with a skyline view of the city. Firepits and the FF&E selections create multiple areas of gathering, where groups or couples can have their own space within the larger community.
